Description
Most parents start out with hopes of creating a happy family with well-adjusted children, but it doesn’t always work out that way. Dr. Rothenberg will share from her decades of practice as both an ND and a mother, ways to encourage and teach parents how to address common challenges of the job.
Dr. Amy Rothenberg has practiced since 1986. Her 2023 Amazon Bestseller, You Finished Treatment, Now What? A Field Guide for Cancer Survivors won a Nautilus Book Award. Dr. Rothenberg was the long-time medical editor for the INM. She has offered 100s of public-facing talks and guest lectures at medical schools, colleges, and for industry. She spearheaded the effort to license NDs in Massachusetts and has served on our national and state boards. She is the AANP 2017 Physician of the Year. Through the New England School of Homeopathy, together with Dr. Paul Herscu, she has trained hundreds of practitioners and had the opportunity to travel the world through teaching and volunteer efforts. They raised their three children with the benefits of natural medicine and continue to enjoy the challenges, pleasures, and surprises of family life, including a first grandchild. When not working, Dr. Rothenberg enjoys time with family and friends, being in nature, puttering in the garden and the kitchen, and on the ballroom dance floor.
