Description
As modern naturopaths, we can no longer bury our heads in the sand and confine ourselves only to the classical “vitalistic” approach. More than ever, our patients need an integrative medicine that combines the philosophy of naturopathy with modern conventional techniques. We will review the hierarchy of naturopathy therapeutics with an emphasis on drug medications at the top of the pyramid. This course will teach participants how to recognize the signs and symptoms of hypothyroidism, hypogonadism, menopause, and auto-immune disease. Naturopathic treatments for these conditions will be discussed, including the indications and dosages of three classes of drugs: thyroid medications, sex hormones, and low dose naltrexone (LDN).
