ABOUT

Dr. Mychael Seubert is a naturopathic doctor who earned his doctorate from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences and is currently licensed as a naturopathic physician in Arizona and Connecticut.

Dr. Mychael is a member of the New York Association of Naturopathic Physicians (NYANP), the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) and  the Naturopathic Gastroenterological Association (GastroANP). He has also received training from and is a member of the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS).

From an early age, Dr. Mychael was interested in exercise, botanical medicine, nutrition, biochemistry, the mind/body connection, nutritional supplements and traditional Chinese medicine. He voraciously studied these topics, applying them to his own life and fitness regimen. When he developed health issues of his own that traditional medicine was unable to address, he decided to take his interest a step further, and began seeing a naturopathic doctor. His experience with naturopathic medicine was eye-opening. He discovered firsthand all of the wonderful benefits of naturopathic medicine. It was a life-changer and led him to pursue a career in naturopathic medicine.

As a naturopathic physician, Dr. Mychael believes the human body has the inherent ability to heal itself. He takes pride in working to discover the root cause of a condition, treating his patients as individuals with complex, unique concerns, and giving individualized suggestions on safe, free of side-effects, science-backed therapeutics.  Dr. Mychael creates a partnership with each of his patients, guiding them on the path to optimal health.

Dr. Mychael has experience working with many conditions with patients under the care of a physician. He particularly enjoys supporting individuals with gastrointestinal concerns, autoimmune conditions, thyroid and adrenal health, diabetes, chronic infections, and Lyme disease among other conditions.

In his spare time, Dr. Mychael is an exercise enthusiast, enjoys cooking, reading, golfing, gardening, and playing with his niece and nephew (a big reason he moved back to New York).

He also enjoys curling rutabagas. He is the current international rutabaga curling champion – see winners here www.rutabagacurl.com and, if you are wondering what this sport is about, read the History of the Rutabaga Curl.

TESTIMONIALS

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Seubert and the staff at the Naturopathic Wellness Center. My family and I have been going there for years and years, and I depend on them for their expert advice and patience. While reviewing my labs, Dr. Seubert was able to pick up things that other doctors didn’t. He was able to get my cholesterol and blood sugar level down with diet changes and supplements. My son has autism and his white blood cell count was too low forever, until he was supported for this at the Naturopathic Wellness Center.Thank you Dr. Seubert (and Denise) for your patience and advice and natural cures for so many things that have come up over the years. You are all truly amazing!

I have been a patient at the Naturopathic Wellness Center for almost 15 years. I love the personal care that I get every time I go there. I look forward to seeing Denise as soon as I walk in. She has always been so friendly and very helpful every time I see her. The office vibe is always calming and relaxing. They have a hot tea station and several different types of reading material available in the waiting room. There is usually not a long wait for appointments, I don’t think that I have ever had to wait more than 5-10 minutes for my appointment.

For the last few years I have been working with Dr. Mychael Seubert. Dr. Seubert is a very intelligent person who has a vast knowledge of many different medical conditions. He has helped me so much with various medical conditions, including adding support for my thyroid, now as a result, my most recent blood work showed that I don’t need as much thyroid medication. So with his support, I am in the process of reducing my medication. My husband and young son have also been seen at this office. My favorite thing about going to the Naturopathic Wellness Center and Dr. Seubert, is that he takes the time to discuss medical issues and more importantly, wellness with me! This is something that traditional doctors can never do because they don’t build that time into their schedules.

Despite how much he has personally helped me already, he has helped my mother even more than me. For years my mother has been suffering with excruciating pain in her face and head. She went to numerous doctors and specialists but nobody was able to figure out what was wrong with her. However, after only one visit with Dr. Seubert, he was able to make a suggestion as to what she should get tested for and he was correct. So now that she has a diagnosis, she is able to receive much better care to help alleviate her pain.

So overall, I would highly recommend Dr. Mychael Seubert and the entire Naturopathic Wellness Center team. This is a place that everyone, no matter what their age or condition is, can benefit from the services they offer.

Sincerely,

Monica

I was 57 years old when I finally decided to try the Naturopathic Wellness Center. I had been dealing with an annoying cough periodically (spring and late fall) since I had been in my 20’s using ventilators, etc. during bouts of asthma. It had reached a point that I couldn’t speak without coughing, I couldn’t breath in excessively cold or warm/humid air and the prescriptions were only getting stronger without really helping. The episodes became longer and longer, often lasting for several months.

As I followed Dr. Seubert’s guidance, my current “bout” cleared; I wasn’t totally sure what had helped because I hadn’t discontinued the use of my ventilator while I was coughing. I continued to follow Dr. Seubert’s instructions, learned what was triggering these bouts and eventually realized that they weren’t happening any more (or rarely when I indulged in those foods/activities). I have been prescription free for two years now.

My name is Jessica and about three years ago I went to see Dr. Seubert for an episode that had sent me to the hospital for about five days. I went to the hospital with severe pains of which the cause could not be determined for 5 days after lots of testing and medications. When I was discharged from the hospital they sent me to every Specialist they could think of. A Rheumatologist, Urologist, Neurologist to take test after test and they still couldn’t figure out what was going on inside my body. I suggested that they run some test on Autoimmune diseases since I knew my family has a gene for Hemochromatosis. Sjogren’s Syndrome came up in one of the blood tests. Then I went back to each of the Specialists to go over the lab results and one of the specialists told me it’s just something I am going to have live with. Another specialist said that one of the symptoms will just make my body dry inside and out. Time went by and I stayed in constant pain with my legs. They were so numb I could hardly walk on them. My Mom convinced me to try an alternative practitioner and directed me to Dr. Seubert’s office. My first meeting with Dr Seubert I was in awe with his compassion and knowledge of medicine. He knew about how Sjogren’s Syndrome worked and he knew he could help me through it. Through a process of various tests and imaging we found out a lot of information out through the process. So now I take vitamins and supplements that Dr. Seubert has advised. When I don’t follow his protocol I feel awful. I have come to realize that I will have to take them for the rest of my life in order to stay in good health and to feel good. At times I have flair ups but Dr. Seubert is always there for me to help me through the tough times. I work for a large medical practice and Dr. Seubert is above all of them. Dr. Seubert is and will be my only doctor of choice and I try to refer everybody who is willing to listen to go see him. Definitely the best doctor I have ever seen.

When I first met Dr. Seubert I had been suffering for the last two and a half years with uncontrollable GI tract problems which had severely hampered my quality of life. A friend of mine advised me to see Dr. Seubert which I did. Dr. Seubert has vast knowledge of the mechanics of the human body and he literally gave me my life back.

When I went to my first appointment, I was 198lbs with a severely extended stomach, high blood pressure and possible borderline diabetic. I also have a hiatial hernia, acid reflux & diverticulitis. Dr. Seubert methodically documented these symptoms, my diet, meds, over the counter and natural supplements. All this research came back with numerous allergies causing inflammation and thereby aggrevating my symptoms as well as a kidney infection.

I was prescribed a nutrition program, pro-biotics & natural supplements as well as daily exercise. About 6 weeks later I was back to driving again ( not afraid to get caught in a traffic jam ), losing weight, the blood pressure has not been over 130/70, my movements are controllable & I can actually keep a daily schedule now. As of today, I still keep the daily nutrition, BP, Carb & exercise chart to track my results. My Glucose is below 100 now, 170lbs and the BP is still normal with regular exercise.

Had I known about Naturopathic Doctors in the past, I would have gone that route long ago. I can’t speak high enough of Dr. Mychael Seubert and his constant looking up information for each patient ( he discovered a conflict with a med and natural supplement and called me on a weekend when he found it ). I would highly recommend anyone who is serious about working towards good health and a good quality of life.

When I started seeing Dr. Seubert I was desperate to feel good. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto Disease over 20 years ago, and treated conventionally with limited success. Over the past couple of years, other health issues have come along, rashes, food allergies, and menopausal symptoms. After extensive testing, dietary  adjustments and the introduction of a regular exercise routine, Dr. Seubert’s guidance has assisted  me to begin feeling well again. As many can attest, suffering with thyroid and menopausal issues can be  frustrating and stressful. Dr. Seubert’s knowledge and experience, genuine concern for his patients, as well as his being available to talk has been greatly appreciated. I’ve always felt that he really cares about my well-being and goes to great lengths to find the answers I need to help me reach my goal of feeling well again. I have peace of mind knowing he is always there for me!

My name is Josh and I am 38 years of age. When I began seeing Dr. Seubert I was experiencing problems from living with Ulcerative Colitis and Irritable Bowl Syndrome. Prior to my first appointment with Dr. Seubert, I had spent approximately 3 years seeing doctor after doctor undergoing test after test with no results. What I learned most over these 3 long years is that most doctors who I saw had little interest in hearing all of my symptoms, assumed they knew what was wrong and sent me on my way or continued to drown me in medications. After my first visit with Dr. Seubert, I knew I was in the hands of a doctor who generally cared, a doctor who truly wanted to help me and a doctor who was willing to listen no matter how long it took. What impressed me most is that Dr. Seubert did not want to send me home with medications. Dr. Seubert approached my road to recovery as a team effort and was willing to move as slow or as fast as I was willing to go. Over several months, Dr. Seubert put me on a strict diet and asked me to take dietary supplements. During this process he would call or text to see how I was doing. This was the first time in my life that a doctor had personally called to see how I was. To date, I am not completely free of all problems but can say that with the help of Dr. Seubert, I feel the best that I have felt in a very long time. I not only consider Dr. Seubert my doctor but a friend as well.
