Complex Case Studies: The Difficult to Treat and Refractory Patients

24 case studies of real patients’ complex health concerns will be presented.  I will present their problem lists, how they were assessed, diagnosed, along with treatment strategies and outcomes.   These conditions will be many of what naturopathic/functional/integrative medicine providers see every day and a few that some may rarely see.  I will also review common cases that “conventional” medicine mention doesn’t have many solutions or have much to offer. The patients’ ages range from a few days old to mid-80’s.

The Art of Influence, Hypnotic Communication Patterns in Everyday Communications for
Physicians

Hypnotic Communication brings to your consciousness the subtle communication sentence structures, meaningful pauses, meaningful looks, that influence people’s
behaviors.  

If a doctor is consistently good at getting patients to do what needs to be done for their health, then these patterns are unconsciously in their communications.   If they are not always influencing people, then they need to become aware of these patterns and use them until they become automatic.

 
Either way, when you become conscious of them and use them on purpose your influence on people’s behavior exponentially increases. This is a very workshop type program where after presentation of each pattern, everyone practices the patterns in small groups.

Case Reports: Managing MS with Bilateral Uveitis and Cancer Related Fatigue Syndrome

I have been in practice for decades with thousands of patients, but so what? You're only as good as your misconceptions, and those you can bring to the grave with you.

A decade ago, after 20 years of practice, the universe in her wisdom saw fit to destroy one of my misconceptions. Parasites are bad. Are they? Doesn't that sound like almost a century ago with regard to bacteria? Then we learned. Good bacteria are good, bad bacteria are bad.

I will agree that bad parasites are bad, but I will try and convince you that good parasites are good. I have used the good parasites with many people that were at the end of their autoimmune rope. It has given me a tool that actually works for what the old timers referred to as the chronic incurables. They can remove the 'obstacles to the cure". At its best I hope my talk will dispel a misconception or two and help you look at our friend "Wormy" with new eyes.
