Walk with a Doc is a *NEW* NYANP member benefit that helps communities, doctors, patients, non- or soon-to-be patients, and walkers of all kinds.
Walk with a Doc began in 2005 by a cardiologist, Dr. David Sabgir. The program has grown to 500 chapters and 30 countries.
Walk with a Doc is a community event. Many hospitals and doctors use this program for a multitude of reasons:
- better health for the community
- patients learn more about specific health topics
- get to know a physician
- obtain new patients
- and more.
A physician organizes a community walk, typically once a month. The walk begins with a short (5-7 min) talk then walks with participants for up to one hour.
Topics, marketing, and more are provided by Walk with a Doc. From start to finish, they help guide your walks to success.
The NYANP is excited to offer you this exciting opportunity for a discounted rate (see pricing below. Regular price is $650 but for NYANP members, it is $592 for 2 years. WWAD members state they make their investment back).
